This stable machine fully automatically measures and corrects uneveness in band saw blades with a blade width of up to 400 mm, restoring an even finish. A linear guided probe performs no-contact measurement of deviations over the entire blade width. Two pneumatically controlled pairs of rollers level out unevenness both above and below. These corrections are automatically monitored.
During the machine's fully automatic work cycle, operating staff are free to perform other work. At the end of the program, the machine comes to a standstill. The result is an evenly levelled saw blade, the essential precondition for optimum output and quality.
